ABOUT THE PROJECT
Jeff Koons made a famous, gigantic sculpture and titled it “Play-Doh.” It was going to be sold for millions at the fancy auction house named Christie’s. Who decided to challenge them? Well, Kristie. A 7 yr. old girl inspired to create her own masterpiece to sell at her super awesome auction on e-Bay. On the same day, Koons’ and Kristie’s sculptures went up for bid. In the end, Christie’s Auction House sold the famous Play-Doh sculpture for $22 million. Kristie made $1,065, which she donated to children in need. While we may have not gotten millions of dollars, we generated more than 1.5 million impressions in one week, 2006% increase in FB views, and a 4.8% sales increase. More importantly, Kristie inspired many children across the country to share their own masterpieces.
